In 2014 the current Head Chef, Michael Ashurst together with Floor Manager, Julie Pringle took up the reigns and became the new owners. With an almost seamless transition, Sayers continues to produce top quality food and service.
Michael began his culinary journey in the United Kingdom. In 1996 he became a member of the Opening Brigade at the OXO Tower in London’s South Bank. After several years he transferred to Harvey Nicholls flagship restaurant in the Knightsbridge store. After migrating to Australia with his wife and daughter in 2005 Michael commenced working at Sayers Leederville in June 2006.
